It is very important to understand the behavior of the audience before doing a public talk. This is because, through understanding the behavior of   the audience will enable you to form a message in way that the audience may understand. Knowing your audience will enable you as a speaker to know their education level, through this will enable you to prepare a message according to their level of education so that they can understand.

Also knowing your audience will enable to understand their culture, and this is very necessary aspects to consider before a public talk. Culture will enable you to understand what to talk, in a way that you will not go against the values, norms and believes of the audience. Also we need to know that, people will always understand a message to the things that belong to their culture. Moreover knowing age, gender of the audience are also important things to understand before a public talk.
