Perceived and actual feedback shapes the message,

Perceived and actual feedback shapes the message, any message can be shaped by the feedback, so through thinking of the feedback as well as the feedback obtained from the message will lead the communicator to understand if the message touch the publics or not, and due to that communicator can shape the message according to the needs of the particular society. So simply perception of the feedback together with actual feedback usually shape the message.
This principle help to understand that message can be shaped after perceiving feedback and after obtaining actual feedback, this will help to meet the need of the publics/audience, hence effective communication.

Conclusively, these principles of communication has the great influence in shaping communication process, simply because through these principles communicator may understand different things which in one way or the other may hinder effective communication. Apart from that these principles show different ways which someone can use to facilitate effective communication.
